The conference is hosted by the Department of History-Archaeology and the Museum of Science and Technology at the University of Patras, Greece.
The Department of History and Archaeology was established in 2019 following the annulment of the Department of Cultural Heritage Management and New Technologies which was established in 2004. According to the new academic charter of the University of Patras, contained in the Presidential Decree 52/2022, starting from the academic year 2022-2023 (a) the Department of Museology is merged with the Department of History-Archaeology and the students of the Department of Museology who registered until the academic year 2021-2022 continue and complete the Program of Studies of their Department of admission and receive the corresponding degree, (b) the Department of History-Archaeology is now based in Patras.
The Science and Technology Museum is a pleasant place for informal education, experimentation, cooperation, acquisition of knowledge, experience and entertainment. It operates on the University campus as a Laboratory of the School of Natural Sciences. It was officially founded in 2001 and opened to the public in 2009. It is addressed to the entire university community, as well as to any individual who would like to learn some aspects of science and technology in a simple and pleasant way.
The University of Patras was founded in the city of Patras in 1964 and started to operate in academic year 1966-1967. The University of Patras includes 35 Departments covering a wide range of disciplines. It also hosts 161 laboratories and 17 fully equipped clinics. The main campus is located 7 km North East of the city of Patras, in the suburb of Rion, covering a vast area of 4.5 km².
The main University Campus is located in the suburb of Rio at 7 km North East from the city centre, within the Municipality of Patras.

VENUE
Both conference venues are in the main University Camus at Rio. The university campus is located at Rio which is a 10 to 15 minutes’ drive from the city center of Patras. Bus service is also provided between the University and the city of Patras.
